Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has directed to start the related administrative process from January 8, 2025. According to the information, this time 1.26 crore women will get the assistance amount, while around 1.63 lakh women have been excluded from the scheme.
According to the Department of Women and Child Development, women above 60 years of age are considered ineligible this time. The 20th installment amount will be distributed on January 12 during a special event at Kala Peepal in Shajapur district, under which the funds will be directly transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries.

The 20th installment of Ladli Bahna Yojana will be released this time slightly delayed from the scheduled date. Like last time, when the December 2024 installment was transferred on December 11, this time too the amount will be credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts on January 12, 2025. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav while giving information said that the state government will organize a special program dedicated to women empowerment on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Under the Ladli Bahna Yojana, women were initially given a monthly assistance of ₹1000. Later, this amount was increased to ₹1250. Now in the 20th installment to be released on 12 January 2025, an amount of ₹1250 will be provided to the beneficiary women. This amount will be deposited by the government directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through a single click system. This time a special program of Rashi distribution will be organized in Kala Peepal of Shajapur district.
